Trails are open for the 2010 season!

Thanks to everyone that worked hard on the trails this morning, the south trails are now open! You must use the back entrance to access the trails.

So…what exactly is the back entrance? I am not very familiar with the area, and am not sure how I get there.

The back entrance is along sugar bottom road NE and is the most eastern map flag on the google map on driving directions page:
    http://www.icorrmtb.org/?page_id=107

If you are coming north up Mehaffey Bridge Road (also F28) you will go past the normal sugar bottom rec area turn and continue north, then turning right on Sugar Bottom Road NE (which is the continuation of F28). There is a small parking lot along the road at the point shown on the map.

We’ll try and get a photo of the back parking lot posted soon.

    Hope that helps.

Photos of the back access parking lot are now in the forum.

I’m glad I checked before heading out to the trails. Did they close again because of the rain yesterday?

The new site layout is nice! One suggestion; on the previous site there was high water info available like trail route impact when the water is X high (e.g. which trails were two-way), link to the corps. dam water elevation, etc.). It would be great to have that info on the new site. Just a suggestion. Thanks
